What’s Included in the price of my cruise?

Included in your cruise ticket price is the entertainment, most meals (main dining, buffet dining, room service), your accommodations, and activities including an amazing fitness center, entertainment and the award-winning Adventure Ocean® Youth Program.

Tips to staff and other gratuities have been included in your costing.. Some drinks, such as alcohol and soda are extra, but we offer unlimited soda packages for your convenience.

And that's not all. For an extra cost, there are additional specialty dining venues, casinos, shopping, and shore excursions available.

What kind of onboard activities can I expect?

Tons! You can relax at the full service spa, work out in the fitness center, go shopping, ice skating, climb the rock wall, or surf on the Flowrider. We're not done. There's plenty more too. A casino, pool games, tournaments, wine tastings, audience participation events, and Wi-Fi service, just to name a few!

What Dining Options Are Available?

There are so many different dishes and enticing atmospheres to experience you won't know where to start. And the gourmet five-course meals in the main dining room are included in your ticket price! In addition, all of our cruise ships offer low-fat Vitality menu options, kids' menus, and, if you arrange in advance, kosher menus.

For an additional cost, you can branch out to other restaurants and enjoy sophisticated dining options like Portofino and Chops, which have a more adult atmosphere, and family friendly options like Johnny Rockets.

What Will My Room Look Like?

Every one of the staterooms to has been designed to be a comfortable, relaxing place for you to rest after your adventures. The staterooms vary from most elaborate suites with grand pianos and hot tubs, to balcony staterooms, family staterooms, and interior staterooms. The ship has room for every kind of budget and group. Every room offers a television, telephone, private bath, shower, vanity and a hair-dryer.

What Should I Pack For The Cruise?

Days onboard are casual and you'll be most comfortable in sport clothes and resort wear. Shoes should be low-heeled for deck activities. Bring a few swimsuits so you'll always have a dry one. You don't have to bring towels, as they are provided. And don't forget your camera and binoculars, so you don't miss a thing.

When you're onshore, shorts, polo shirts, light sweaters, khakis and jeans are perfectly acceptable. Of course, you'll want to pack some comfortable walking shoes as well as a hat and sunscreen for protection from the sun. A rain slicker and compact umbrella may come in handy for the occasional downpour. You should also bring some formal wear for formal occasions. Cocktail dresses for women, suit and ties or tuxedos for men. You can arrange to rent a tuxedo onboard, if you prefer.

Who’s A Cruise For?

Simply put, everyone, from families, couples, family reunions, to corporate events. From mild to wild, there are activities for every explorer. The Adventure Ocean® Youth Program is great for kids and we have tons to do for teens, like our teen-only dance club. There are lots of entertainment options, shopping, and gambling for adults. There are state-of-the-art fitness facilities, with classes like kickboxing and yoga, full-service spas and a huge variety of dining venues to suit every taste. If you want it, we got it!

Are there activities for kids and teens

There are plenty of things for kids of all ages to do on the ship. The top-rated and complimentary Adventure Ocean Youth Program is specially designed to blend educational activities with just plain fun! Teens can discover a whole new world of cruising just for them onboard our ships. From dancing until 2 a.m. in our teen-only dance club to just hanging out with friends in our teen-only lounge. Kids ages 3-11 will love the Adventure Ocean activities, like Adventure Theater, sand castle building, and scavenger hunts. We also have activities for wee ones starting at just 6 months old! The Fisher-Price Aqua Babies and Aqua Tots Programs for parents and children 6-36 months old was developed by Fisher-Price exclusively for Royal Caribbean.

Do I need a passport to go on this cruise?

Yes, a valid passport is required for travel. For your protection, we recommend that your passport expiration date not occur within six (6) months of the sailing termination date.

Do I also need a Visa?

It is the guests' responsibility to identify and to obtain the necessary visas before commencing their cruise.

At present, Australian passport holders do not require a visa to travel to the destinations on this cruise.

Based on your nationality, many countries still require an entry visa.

Suggestions on where to get visa information: the Embassies (Consular Service Office) of each country on your sailing itinerary.

Do I have to get any shots to go on the cruise?

All guests must ensure that they are medically and physically fit for travel.

Your doctor or travel clinic is the best source of information about preventive measures, immunisations (including booster doses of childhood vaccinations) and disease outbreaks overseas. The World Health Organization (WHO) provides information for travellers and the Australian Government’s 'Travelling Well' brochure also provides useful tips for travelling with medicines and staying healthy while overseas.


Should we arrange Travel Insurance before the trip?

It is very strongly recommended that you should ensure that you have a travel insurance policy in place before booking your cruise. This insurance covers you for unforeseen medical expenses, as well as other risks related to international travel.

We will contact you to ensure you are covered before finalizing the booking of your place on our cruise.

How much luggage may I bring onboard?

Each guest is permitted to carry a reasonable amount of personal property (including luggage) aboard the vessel; however, for your comfort and convenience, it is recommended that you limit the number of pieces you take. Keep in mind that airlines may charge for excess or oversize luggage. Charges incurred for excess or oversize baggage are the sole responsibility of the passenger. Each airline has a different limit on the amount of luggage they allow. Check with your air carrier for specific restrictions, such as weight allowance and any additional charges.

What is security like onboard?

Royal Caribbean Line ships meet and exceed all International and U.S. Coast Guard safety regulations, including smoke detectors and sprinkler systems throughout the ships.
